What are dividend yield, financial health and market condition? How do you check for these as a beginner.

Dividend yield is your actual cash return on investment, assuming you buy shares worth $100 and you receive $5 per share, that means your dividend yield is 5% ($5/$100).

The financial health of a company is the fundamentals, you look at the revenue growth, profit and cashflow, debt and liquidity positions to ascertain the company’s ability to withstand challenges, continue to grow in years to come.

Market conditions cover the effect of economic events, policies and uncertainties on share prices of companies, you can check all these on Yahoo Finance

Thank you for this valuable update. I have a question only. I know to buy into any of these REITs through few available platforms, such as Bamboo etc. will only give us access to secondary market which is not entitled to dividends. Which platform can you recommend someone go through to have access to this type of monthly ROIs.

Thanks

@Obadafidy your questions aren’t clear
